WOW

Look at all you super-cycling-fundraisers-against-cancer GO.  Hopefully, the great state of Texas brings sunshine and warmth to you all.

Stay safe.  Don't let Paddy do any backflips into the pool :)

Great start!!

Great start, y'all!  I'm really sorry that I had to miss out on a night at my favourite hotel(?) in Shelby.  Keep your spirits up, and the rubber side down and you'll all get to Austin in one piece :)

Stay safe.

CAN'T WAIT!!

This is going to be so frikkin' awesome! I did get a further report from a Corn Husker who says that the sunflowers are in bloom right about now! See y'all on Wednesday!

Almost on our way!

Hello, my friends.

Again, this year I am honoured to be part of the Cancervive team on the trip to Austin. My last two experiences have been awesome, and again Mardi will get to share in the experience. Personally, having cancer is kind of an uphill struggle, but having the support of your wife and kids levels the playing field.

In some small way, I hope that the meager funds I raise will make a difference in the life of someone living with cancer.

Namaste.

The view from the bus

Day...uh...4? I've lost track already, but we're in Penticton today and will be headed off later to find the riders so we can put in our 10pm to 6am shift, probably somewhere in the good ol' US of A. Maybe we'll get to see some fireworks before we begin.
We left team 2 last night as they were headed into rattle snake country in the dark. At least it had cooled down and the moon was almost full, so they'd at least see the shadow before any critter jumped in front of them.
