Like most of the teams...we have been faced with regular wet and rainy rides...some strong cross winds...and a number of pretty grueling hills to climb each day. Regardless of what mother nature has to throw at us...we are getting out each day to our transition point...gearing up as needed for the 6 hour ride...and just doing it. That's what this is about. We are dedicated to the good cause Cancervive and Wellspring represent...and we all doing this for all of our supporters to help those battling cancer. A friend just received confirmation of prostate cancer which has spread to his bones while we have been out here a few days ago. We dedicated our night ride to him as he immediately started treatment this week. Hopefully our positive energy will contribute to him in the fight ahead.
We (team 3) are currently in Big Springs Nebraska at a truck stop...in a few hours, we will be heading to our next transition point near Holyoke Colorado for our 6am to noon ride. Haven't looked outside yet to see what the weather brings...but it doesn't matter - we are ready to ride regardless.
I have also posted some photos over the past few days on my blog:

Keep up the great work everyone...only 4 more rides to go!
