Overview

The Cancervive Peloton Project is Cancervive’s flagship event – aimed at ambassadorship of cancer survivors and awareness of their issues. The annual nine-day bike excursion from Calgary features a group of 30 riders in pelotons of six, cycling relay style 24 hours a day. Every year Cancervive alternates destinations to cities that host a Lance Armstrong’s LiveSTRONG™ charity bike ride.
This year, San Jose will be the destination city and the route will tour Alberta prior to departing for San Jose. Riders will be leaving Calgary on July 1, 2009 and they are expected to arrive in San Jose on July 9, 2009.
