Motivation: I am so fortunate to have my health. I wish to share my energies and strengths towards a cause that is meaningful. I have gotten to know Wellspring and some of their programs through "Tricops" as a fundraising team of like minded athletes.
We are all touched by cancer to some degree. My brother has battled three forms of it now.My father passed away with it and never treated it.I have worked at Outward Bound Canada with folks living beyond Cancer on wilderness seven day expeditions.
Each year I participate in a Terry Fox run and am usually overwhelmed with emotion and inspiration from that amazing young warrior.When I run a marathon I just can't imagine what it would be like to do on a single leg.... day after day after day across Canada!
We are all so blessed to be given our lives here on earth. Carpe Diem!
