Motivation: My motivation, inspiration and reason for riding again this year is because of my warrior, my mom.
My Warrior: My mom has battled cancer for over 18 years and most recently was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia. She is the person I look to for support, strength and encouragement. Througout all her years with cancer and this most recent diagnosis she continues to be the most wonderful mother and friend. She continues to fight this awful, crazy disease with her patience, determination and will. Something I learn from each and every minute of every day.
My mom lost her fight with cancer on July the 14th. In the words of my father she died with courage, strength and confidence. She was an amazing person and truly has shown us all what the meaning of a "Warrior" is.
I am so very thankful to to have the strength of my family and friends throughtout this time.
