Hometown: Calgary
Occupation: Retired Businessman
Warrior: TBA
Motivation: I first became aware of Cancervive in the fall of 2006. I saw an article about them in the Calgary Herald and I thought I was just signing up for a bike ride. Little did I know what I was getting myself into!
As it turned out, I was too late to ride in 2006 so I drove a support vehicle to Austin instead; I rode to Austin in 2007, rode to Philadelphia in 2008, and drove the media vehicle in 2009 to San Jose. I'm obviously riding again this year to Austin. I've also been on the Board of Cancervive for the past 4 years.
What can I say - I love this organization, what it does, how it does it, and it's people. It's a second family to me.
