Motivation: I like physical challenges! My wife Beverly was a rider to San Jose in 2009 and I had the privilege of meeting her warrior, Bill. This really opened my eyes to the lives of people battling, living with and beating cancer. I then started creating a mental list of all of my family members and friends that have been touched by this disease. There are more than a few! After attending the Lance Armstrong event in San Jose last year, it is now my turn to try to make life a little easier for these very brave people. The least I can do is ride my butt off for the good part of this year to raise support funds for Cancervive! I am looking forward to this life experience and working with a team of bikers and volunteers to make this ride to Austin, Texas something I will always remember. I intend to fulfill my Fundraising Target and more. Please help me achieve my goal. Thanks....Rick
